Pay Range: $97,570 - $175,230 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful
candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

In a Hospital System spanning several locations, the Point of Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining system performance and coordinating with each hospital location to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Point of Care testing. The Point of Care Technical Specialist requires experience in Point of Care platforms, interfaces, and testing methodologies to serve as a resource for the Hospital Laboratory Directors, be able to work with Point of Care vendors, and collaborate with system medical and nursing leadership that use Point of Care equipment and tests.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology with ASCP certification; subsequent to graduation. Certified Point of Care Professional (CPP) certification is preferred.
Three to six (3-6) years of pertinent, full-time laboratory experience in a core laboratory or Hospital with demonstrated experience in the Point of Care discipline.
Microsoft skills including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word are required. Experience with online tools: Smartsheet, MS Forms, etc. is preferred.
Advanced education will be counted towards years of experience.
